Bold, weighty double-sided vintage collar necklace, 18K

To all of you looking to "wear your savings," here's an amazing Italian 1970s statement necklace made from 89 grams of 18K deep buttery gold!
 
It has wonderful large oval curb links that graduate slightly in width from 20mm at the center to 15mm at the back. It features the most beautiful Florentine finish on the front and high-shine gold on the back. And can be worn both ways, but the hallmarks on the clasp show when the high shine is worn on the front. But they are pretty, too.
 
I'm quite confident that we will not see another quite like it later on.
