Antique French "Hand w dog clasp" charm holder/extender, 18K

This is a wonderfully detailed hand holding a dog clasp that comes from an antique watchchain where it was used to keep the pocket watch. But now it can add original patinated charm to your necklace as a charm-holder or as an extender if you wish to add 50mm/2" extra length to your chain.
Several hallmarks to the bail of the hand and the dog clasp. Also tested. It has lots of patina, dark areas, nicks, dents, and other signs of use and is super charming. The dog clasp is strong and ready to hold your charms and connects your chains.
